Warranty

1. Introduction

At Severux, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services. This warranty policy outlines your consumer rights under current European law, specifically Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods, in force since January 1, 2022.

2. Legal warranty

All Severux products are covered by a minimum legal warranty of three (3) years from the delivery date. During this time, products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects and to conform to their advertised features and intended use.

3. What is covered?

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing or material defects.
  • Lack of conformity with descriptions or advertised functionality.
  • Products unfit for normal or agreed usage.

Please note that our warranty is not unconditional. All replaced parts become the property of Severux. While our products meet strict quality standards, they are not indestructible.

4. What is not covered?
  • Products that have been modified without Severux’s approval, or with altered, removed, or tampered serial or warranty labels.
  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use.
  • Damage, deterioration, or malfunction caused by:
    • Accidents, abuse, negligence, fire, water, lightning, or natural events.
    • Unauthorized modifications or improper use.
    • Repairs by unauthorized individuals or service centers.
    • Any other cause not related to a product defect.
  • Damage during shipping (claims must be directed to the carrier).
  • Any other incidental damage.
  • Product suitability for a specific purpose. It is your responsibility to determine if the product meets your requirements.
5. Product replacements

If a product must be replaced and the original model is unavailable, Severux reserves the right to replace it with a product of equal or higher value at no extra cost.

6. How to make a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact us within a reasonable period of discovering the issue, and provide:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
  • A clear description of the defect.

After evaluation, we will offer one of the following:

  • Free repair of the defective product.
  • Replacement with a new product.
  • Price reduction or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible.
7. Additional commercial warranties

Some products may include an additional commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer. This does not replace or affect your legal rights as a consumer.

8. Digital services and content

For digital goods and services, the EU Regulation 2019/770 applies, including the right to necessary updates and conformity for the duration of the contract.

9. Local warranty laws

This warranty grants you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights under your local consumer protection laws.
